Everything was wonderful. We feel refreshed in body and
encouraged in the Lord. Please thank the prayer warriors, the board and
supporters for us. We have experienced the Lord here. This is a piece of heaven
to us.

We appreciated the way you both flowed in and out of our
lives during our time here. You interacted with us and gave us space at the
same time. There is truly an anointing for “rest” and “refreshing” upon this
place. The ability to hear from God away from the “hustle and bustle” is
priceless!

This place lends itself to a wonderful experience with God.
Just sitting on the deck is being near Him and His creation!

Our spiritual needs were very much so met. How can you not
be drawn closer to our Lord when you see all the beauty He created around you?
We are leaving refreshed, renewed and once again ready for battle. Our
batteries have been recharged.

It was a very restful getaway. May the Lord continue to use
it for His glory as you minister to His Shepherds. Thanks.

The Shepherd’s Refuge … what a wonderful vision God has
given Ruedi and Sandy! My wife and I have known the Mettlers for over ten
years. During that time, their door has always been open to us. For me
personally, the Shepherd’s Refuge has been a place of rest from the stress of
ministry. It’s given me a chance to reflect and to gain direction. It’s offered
encouragement and hope. Most of all, it’s provide the opportunity to renew my
relationship with God and with my wife. The Mettlers have exhibited a true
servant’s heart in their love for God’s pastors and ministers. Thank you, Ruedi
and Sandy, for being such a blessing.
