Giving to Shepherd’s Refuge is a wise investment.

Shepherd’s Refuge is a public charity exempt from federal tax as an organization described in Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions to the organization are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Shepherds Refuge is accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). The ECFA helps Christ-centered organizations earn the public’s trust through standards of accountability that convey God-honoring ethical practices. Member expectations include a focus on board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fundraising, and proper use of charity resources.

The finances of Shepherd’s Refuge are handled based on biblical principles. We are governed by a board of directors consisting of ministers, financial counselors, architects, real estate investors and entrepreneurs. Our board provides guidance in the decision-making process and ensures the absolute integrity of this ministry.

We can accept non-monetary contributions such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, personal property, vehicles, real estate and other assets through the National Christian Foundation.
