What is Shepherd's Refuge?
Shepherd’s Refuge is for the heavy-laden ministry leader seeking rest. Whether it is leading a ministry or pastoring a church, these jobs are demanding and taxing. These jobs are also incredibly important, especially during these challenging and turbulent times.
We provide solace for these frontline servants to rest, and return restored to their purpose.
Our cabins are nestled in the beautiful North Georgia mountains surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest, providing a space of solitude for Christian leaders to find refuge from the rigors of ministry.
Like a depiction in a storybook, one guest said it best:
“It is a ‘Secret Place' where, in the quiet, one can find refreshment in body, mind, and spirit”.

Ministry News
Dear Friends of Shepherds Refuge,
We have great news to report! After at least two years of planning, the caretakers cabin is jumping out of the ground. Rob Jones has done a spectacular job managing the architect, local permitting government agencies and contractors to get the cabin built quickly.
