    Shepherd’s Refuge is a non-denominational, non-profit ministry dedicated to serving the needs of Vocational/Bi-Vocational Christian Pastors, full-time Church staff in a leadership positions, full-time Christian ministry staff in a leadership position, and Missionaries.

    The focus of our ministry is to provide our guests a relaxing environment, free from the demands of everyday life. The beneficiaries from a retreat at Shepherd’s Refuge extend to the congregation and community our guests serve.

The beneficiaries from a visit at Shepherd’s Refuge are not only our guests, but their renewed strength carries over into the congregation and community they serve.

In order to allow guests from all size churches, or missions groups to benefit from Shepherd’s Refuge, we completely depend on the generous support from our partners.

The finances of Shepherd’s Refuge are handled based on biblical principles. We are governed by a board of directors consisting of ministers, financial counselors, architects, real estate investors and entrepreneurs.

Our board provides guidance in the decision making process and ensures the absolute integrity of this ministry.

In addition to serving our guests, Shepherd’s Refuge will be constructing cabins without going into debt, moving forward as the Lord provides.

Our Needs

Third CabinShepherd’s Refuge depends on the Lord’s provisions and our supporters to:

  • Pray for the ministry, for the guests and the laborers.
  • Volunteer during workday events (call or email us for more details!).
  • Financially support the needs of Shepherd's Refuge: 
    • Provide the reservation deposits:$75 or $150
    • Sponsor a couple for 5 nights, $495
    • 3rd Cabin Construction: $95,000
